Many students have made requests to include My Name as a non-related referee in their Curriculum Vitae. If I have known you through a course I conducted, I would usually indicate a positive response to such requests. However, owing to the personal touch that I usually give to references, and to keep track of who has included my name, I require copies of your CV. Usually I would then be able to suggest/recommend changes to be incorporated to your Cv to make it stand out.

Lasith also provides confidential referee reports aimed at students who seek to secure job placements, as well as letters of recommendation for higher studies. Personal Reference Letters are also issued via the site. All such documents are stored confidentially, and are only accessible to the Student / Organisation. Log in to the site is required to proceed.

Remember that I keep track of all requests made to me, and inclusion of my Name in your CV without my consent is considered as  poor example of ethics that I practice and preach during my classes.
